Dear Parents,
A warm welcome back to all pupils and staff for the 2022/2023 school year. We would also like to welcome our new pupils who entered different classes throughout the school this year. We would like to thank you for your co-operation to date and look forward to getting back to normality in school.
Staffing for 2022/2023
Junior Infants, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Class – Mrs Olivia Coyne (Class teacher and Deputy Principal)
4th, 5th and 6th Class – Ms Carol White (Class teacher and Principal)

Caretaker – Mr Stephen Sheil
Uniform
School uniform days are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Tracksuit/PE days are Tuesday and Friday.
Lunches
Here in Boher N.S., as part of our Health Promoting Schools initiative, we have a Healthy Eating policy. As part of this the children may bring in a small treat once a week.
Homework
Return to normal with spellings, (English & Irish), tables, reading etc. each night. As before if children are experiencing difficulty, please let us know.
Book Rental
The book rental/art and photocopying money remains at €45 for this year. Many thanks to all those who have sent it in to date. If you are sending it in with your child, please put it into an envelope with your child’s name on it.
Pupil Personal Accident Insurance
The cost is €9 for 24 hours, 365 days in the year. This can be sent in with your book rental.
Staff Meeting
We will have a half day on Friday 2nd September to facilitate a staff meeting. Children are to be collected at 12 noon.
Mid Term Break
We break for mid-term on Friday 28th October. School reopens Monday 7th November.
Confirmation Date
Wednesday 22nd March.
Retreat for Confirmation Class, Monday 3rd October in Pastoral Centre Drumraney, 9.30am – 2.45pm. No date for First Communion as yet.
